Mr. Rusli

This is Mr. Rusli the chief of the commitee. As a chief, he had to worked hard to raise some funds from the donators. He prepared everything - doing the committe's meeting, conducting some games and competitions for the neighbourhood. Below is the picture when Mr. Rusli was preparing a singing/karaoke contest.

Chess again.

Chess competition is one of favorite competition that people like. They could the things like, talking, chatting, enjoying some food and drinks, and maybe smoke some cigars. They were really enjoy doing such kind of things among the busy rysh our in Jakarta's living.

Card's game again

Cards competition was also one of the favorite games. The relax situation while playing the cards together with the neighborhood was one the most expensive time. People will not do this thing on daily routine time especially if it is done together with the neighbor.

Keep on watching

Some mothers also gathered together on that night. After having dinner together with neighbors, then they also watched and took part in singing contest. Sometime unexpected and extraordinary talent could appear. I am myself was was wonder with my neighbors voices. Their way of singing were almost like a celebrity such as Afgan, KD, etc. In the picture below, Bu Temu (the old women) was still watching her neighbor singing. At that time the clock shown at 23.30.

Chess contest

Hobby or not hobby, talent or not talent, but the competition was very interesting. Many "sesepuh" in RT joined this game - chess game. People could lough together. Here, winning the game was not the main purpose. Gather with the neighbor was the main idea. The result of the game was another bonus.

Singing winners.

Below were the winners of the singing contest. It was very amazing that these mothers could very good. May be I could say that their voice was as good as KD ha ha ha ha. I've never met or seen these my neighbors, only on August 17 celebration we could meet our neighbors. That;s Jakarta's living. Once I met them, and found them sang some songs, I knew that actually they have good talent in singing. Congrats mothers.

Card Competition.

Card competition is the enjoyable game. It can be played by you and or old men and women. While playing the game, the players can talk each other, eat something, drink some coffee or tea. It is really a great game for everybody. I am myself learn card game when I was at the elementary school. At that time I played card with my sister while we were in the train on the way to go to Solo for school holiday. What a great time it was.

Singing contest.

The following was Mr Agus Sudiyanto. He is my neighbor whose house in front of mine. He joined singing competition and card games. At that he sang a song from manado, a song from Sulawesi. His voice was good. He won the second prize at the celebartion day few days ago. Congrats Sir.

Gathering night.

Gather together with the neighbors in a special day was very extraordinary for Jakartan. Here all people gathered in one place. There was a stage and an LCD screen. There were some electronic tools for doing karaoke, too. And last but not least some food on the long dining table. Everybody could take and enjoyed the food.

The committee

The committees were preparing things for children games competition that morning. They prepared about eight games for the children. Children were very happy in August 17 celebration every year, beside Idul Fitri Holiday, New year, and offcourse their long school holidays.
